About Me:
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California with over 10 years of experience providing counseling services. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and my Master's in Social Work from USC.
I believe in building a trusting and collaborative relationship with each of my clients. My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and problem-solving techniques. I tailor our treatment plan to your unique needs and adjust it as necessary to ensure we are making progress in a way that works for you.
In addition to providing generalized therapy support, I specialize in two areas based on both my personal experiences and evidence-based practices:
Chronic Illness: As someone living with type 1 diabetes and celiac disease, I understand the unique challenges that come with managing chronic conditions. The health anxieties, frequent doctor appointments, and the emotional toll of balancing life while managing a chronic illness are all too familiar to me. I offer support for individuals navigating similar struggles.
Perinatal and Reproductive Health: After my own journey with infertility, a high-risk pregnancy, and the premature birth of my twins at 27 weeks, I felt compelled to shift my focus to supporting women facing fertility challenges, difficult pregnancies, NICU journeys, and perinatal mood disorders. I am passionate about helping women and families through these difficult, often isolating experiences.
I am here to support you on your journey and look forward to helping you navigate life's challenges with compassion and understanding.
